About Anna

I stood on the shore looking out at the clear blue water of the Mediterranean. I had never seen anything like it. My friend and I were staying in the seaside town of Nerja, Spain. Like several places along the Costa del Sol, it was a holiday getaway spot for Spaniards and other Europeans. As an American, I had never heard of it. The buildings painted white and the nearby mountains looked stunning next to the sea. I breathed in and thought, “How did I get here?”

Growing up, my family didn’t travel much. It was something I fell in love with on school trips. I loved seeing new landscapes, meeting people from different cultures, trying new foods, and learning about other countries. The more I saw, the more I wanted to see.

Around six years ago, my passion for travel and my career collided. I coordinated travel at a nonprofit and worked alongside travel agents. Not only were they brilliant with travel logistics but they were advocates for my travelers. I left that job in spring 2021 but quickly realized that I was not done with travel. Shortly thereafter, I met Andy Sutherland, the owner of Come and See Travel. It was the perfect place to start my career as a travel advisor.

Now, I get to help people experience new parts of the world while making memories with their loved ones. It is the best job I could have hoped for, and I have been incredibly blessed by great clients and a great agency.
